What matters most. Lyntway records what happened to your AI traffic and signs it. It is evidence, not a guarantee: it cannot see traffic that does not reach it, and detection is imperfect. Do not rely on it as your only protection, and read the section on what it does not promise before you rely on it at all.
1. Who you are agreeing with
Lynt-X Global, IH-00-01-03-OF-05, Level 3, Innovation Hub, Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you (“you”, and the organisation you act for) accept these terms.
If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may bind it.
2. What the service is
Lyntway inspects content passing through it, records what it found as classes and counts, and issues cryptographically signed receipts. Depending on how you configure it, it may also substitute detected values before content leaves.
Receipts verify against a published key, offline, with no account. That is deliberate and it is the point: the evidence stands on its own.
The service also includes software that runs on your own machines: a browser extension and an on-device agent. They apply the same rules to what a person pastes, types or uploads before it leaves the device, and report classes and counts to your account. Their receipts are marked as attested, because the content stayed on the device. You are responsible for what you install them on and for the policy you set for them.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for what happens under your credentials. Keep API keys secret; a key is a bearer token and anyone holding it acts as you.
- You must be able to form a contract, and not barred from receiving the service under applicable law.
- There is no password reset. Recovery codes are issued when your account is created — keep them, because without them a lost password means a lost account.
- Tell us promptly if you believe a credential has been compromised.
4. What you may not do
- Send content you have no right to send, or use the service to break the law.
- Attempt to reach another customer's data, or to defeat the isolation between accounts.
- Point the service at addresses on networks you do not control.
- Present a Lyntway receipt as evidence of something it does not say. The receipts are careful about their own limits; misrepresenting them is a breach of these terms.
- Resell the service without a written agreement with us.
Testing your own deployment's security is fine and welcome. Tell us what you find.
5. What we do not promise
This section matters more than the rest, so it is not in small print.
- We cannot see traffic that does not reach us. The coverage report states what is known to be missing and says plainly that traffic neither of us knows about cannot be counted. Receipts evidence what was governed. They do not evidence that it was everything.
- Detection is imperfect in both directions. Pattern rules are reproducible and incomplete. Model-based findings have better recall and are not reproducible, and they produce false positives on ordinary writing. Findings name which tier produced them so you can judge them.
- We are not your only safeguard. Lyntway is designed to sit alongside whatever else protects your traffic, not to replace it.
- No service level is promised on free plans, and none is promised on paid plans unless we have signed one with you separately. The service runs in a single region.
- We hold no SOC 2 report and no independent penetration test.If your assessment requires either, self-host.
- Except where the law does not allow it to be excluded, the service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind.
6. Your data
Your content is yours. We claim no rights over it, we do not use it to train anything, and we do not sell it. What we hold and for how long is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Where we process personal data on your behalf, our data processing agreement applies and is incorporated here. You do not need to sign it separately; using the service accepts it.
7. Paying
- Free plans are free, and we may change or withdraw them with notice.
- Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Fees are stated when you subscribe and exclude taxes, which you are responsible for.
- Payment is in advance and non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, or where we have failed badly enough that a refund is the right answer.
- Usage above your plan's limits is reported before it is charged. We would rather tell you than surprise you.
- We will give at least 30 days' notice before a price increase takes effect.
8. Ending it
You may stop at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or end your account if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if your use threatens the service for others — with notice and a chance to fix it, unless the breach is serious enough that waiting would be unreasonable.
Export before you leave. On termination your account data is erased. Receipts already delivered to you remain yours and remain verifiable by anyone, which is exactly what they were built for.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data, and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period — or, on a free plan, to USD 100.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else the law does not permit us to limit.
10. Changes
We may change these terms. For changes that affect you materially, we will give 30 days' notice to the account holder. Continuing to use the service after that accepts the change; if you would rather not, stop and we will refund the unused part of any prepaid fee.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre, and the DIFC Courts have exclusive jurisdiction. Talk to us first — legal@lyntway.com — because most disagreements are cheaper to resolve than to litigate.
